Global CSR Leadership Awards 2010 will be given in 15 categories There is an exhaustive search and selection process for the Awards that include the generation of entries, initial screening, short-listing by a panel of experts, and final judging. The CSR Summit Awards is the Recognition Awards programme for Corporate Social Responsibility. The programme recognises and honors companies for outstanding, innova¬tive and world-class products, services, projects and programmes implemented in 2009/2010. These projects should demonstrate the company’s leadership, sincerity and on-going commitment in incorporating ethical values, compliance with legal requirements, and respect for individuals, communities and the environment in the way they do business.

The GLOBAL CSR LEADERSHIP Corporate Awards for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) are in recognition of corporate leadership for social responsibility and sustainable devel¬opment initiatives. The objectives are to asses the extent of CSR in corporate functioning and the development, identify best practices and in¬novations in the Indian corporate sector, adopt¬ed to fulfil their responsibilities towards targeted stakeholders. Through this process, also it aims to sensitize private players to their responsibili¬ties as good citizens of a developing world.
